Thank God for the sweet nurses that work here and the Saint that brought us to them, they checked me and my boyfriend out with so much patience and care, I will forever be greatful to my nurse for giving me a hug that I really needed. Thank you❤️
I made the switch to Dr Jason Sharp a couple of years ago, and I’ve come to realization that he is one of the best, professional, compassionate, and most thoughtful doctors that I’ve had. And his MA, Meredith Nunn is right up there in that category with him!
They have both put up with my neediness, and they’ve calmed my nerves, when needed. They both explain things in a very easy to understand way.
During the two weeks that I had covid, Meredith phoned to check in on me several times. These doctors and their MA’s really DO care!
And when I engage with them outside of their office they are just as polite! I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help me take care of my health.

We were on vacation at GTNP and contracted Covid. The Star Valley Urgent Care in Alpine diagnosed us and directed us to go to the hospital right away for infusion treatments. For the next 2 weeks my husband and I were there. We got the most wonderful and attentive medical care that we could have hoped for here in the US with all the overload of Covid. My husband would not be alive today if it wasn’t for their great care. Dr Cottam and Dr Brown are fantastic. Thanks to them and the great nursing staff he didn’t end up on a ventilator like many Covid patients.
Pamela S, Ward Clerk in the Surgical Center, made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked into the Surgical Center. Her warm smile greeted us and her words comforted us and put us at ease before the procedure.
I've unfortunately had many surgeries in my lifetime. The surgical center in Afton has been the best experience by far. I already had the utmost faith and confidence in Dr Lindford and his team, but everyone else now too. Starting with the "rebel" at the front desk to check in, the nurse that got my IV started on the first try(first time ever) and took such good care of me waking me up, (and feeding me applesauce), the anesthesiologist that listened to me that I am hard to come out of anesthesia and he made it to where I not only was very comfortable during surgery but woke up very well, without nausea and stayed perfectly sleepy for my 3 hour drive home. Everyone was so kind, caring and completely there to keep me calm and confident that I was in very good hands. I highly recommend any and every one to use this facility if able or needed. You'll be very very well taken care of.
SV Health really treated me exceptionally well! The pre-surgery intakes were quick and efficient. Prep nurses were outstanding, friendly and thorough. Both Dr. Green and Dr. Linford were exceptional. I couldn’t have asked for more. My experiences here at SV Health have been top notch!

I recently had an EGD and colonoscopy as an outpatient and was treated with respect and concern for my comfort. Dr. Kirk was very professional and explained everything on my understanding level. The nurses were wonderful and I'm very appreciative for the care I received.

I had shoulder replacement surgery at Star Valley Medical. DR STUCKI and staff were awesome! Answered any questions I had , they always took their time never felt like I was being rushed threw my office visits. I completed my PT at Star Valley physical Therapy in Thayne can't say enough nice things about Dan Jenski and all the staff that were so helpful 😀 Would HIGHLY recommend Mountain West Orthopedic and Star Valley Physical Therapy.

Have used this hospital several times over the years. It is a great facility and it's wonderful to have local options. Staff vary to extremely friendly to matter of fact business ready. So you can generally find someone that fits your bedside manner. No one is rude and all try to be helpful if possible. Some ER situations still require transfer to a bigger facility, but a lot more stuff is being handled in house.
My only complaint and this is hospitals and insurance in general is billing. Look at your bills closely got a few out sourced labs or consolation surprises here.

I am a new patient of Dr. Jason Sharp. I am incredibly impressed with him! I have been a medical mystery for almost 4 years. Within our first apoimtment that lasted 45 minutes he had already found a clue to my illness. He is a rare breed of doctor who genuinely cares, listens and puts the puzzle pieces together. THANK YOU!

My recent stay was Five Star. Star Valley Health made the best out of a really bad situation for me. From the EMS crew to the ER staff and Doctor, to the radiology and lab staff, everyone was caring and thoughtful about my dilemma. The Surgery staff, Nursing staff, Physical Therapist, and Doctors were all top notch. They got me prepared to go home after a difficult surgery. Couldn't have ask for a better experience if I had planned it.

I have never felt so safe and taken care of. This center has gone above and beyond for my family and I! I feel so grateful knowing our health is in their hands! From the receptionist, to the nurses, to our doctor everything is spectacular!

WOW! What a great experience, On 2-5-19 Dr. Sam Linford replaced my worn out hip at Star Valley Medical Center. The experience could not have been better. I have been told I am a rather demanding customer, but Dr. Linford and the whole team at Star Valley Medical Center exceeded all my expectations. The nursing staff was caring, attentive and always immediately available a the press of a button. The Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy folks were great at coaching and cheerleading. The food service, custodial staff, admissions and all the other folks that make a hospital run all did a bang up job. As I moved through the whole process, I noticed a lot of the staff smiling as they did their work.... this is a sure sign that people are happy at their jobs. The folks that run the hospital seem to know what they are doing and it shows. Well done!

This place has a lot to offer for such a small town. They constantly strive to improve on the facility, the staff, and the feel. No it isn't perfect. So why the 5 stars.
They saved my life once!! So, I am biased in the fact that they did their job well and that I am here today thanks to their staff and the doctors who take my hard case into their well equipped hands.

The first week of April 2017 I had a knee replacement done at this hospital.
The staff were amazing, friendly, efficient and caring, The hospital was very clean, my single room was great - when you are not feeling well not having a room mate is a real plus.
The food arrived hot and very good.
I would highly recommend Star Valley Hospital.

We are from out of town and it's nice to know you can get excellent medical service even when on vacation.

I can honestly say that the medical staff at Star Valley Medical Center's Physician's Clinic is extraordinary! They're professional, knowledgeable, empathetic, & caring. They don't put insurance in front of people, which in this day and age, is a combination that's extremely rare. Therefore, I don't hesitate to travel a hundred miles for my doctor! Extraordinary Doctors are an endangered species, so when you find one, don't ever let them go!
