Physical therapist Matt Harris understands that for many patients, the physical therapy (PT) journey is much more than physical.
“My responsibility is to get people feeling better. Generally, we work on a physical level, but there’s some motivation that goes into it, too. Even though it’s hard or it hurts, you can do this.”
Matt works with patients experiencing a wide range of pain, from postoperative recovery to chronic conditions like arthritis. Patients at our PT clinics receive one-on-one care, supported by personalized recovery plans. Matt says that open communication and consistency is key to an optimal PT experience.
He also stresses the importance of early detection and booking that first appointment. “The sooner the better. You’ll gain better knowledge of what’s going on and why you’re hurting. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”
“Matt is always looking to improve care for all of our therapy patients,” says Dan Jeske, director of physical therapy. “He is hardworking, and patients respect him.”
