Radiology technicians play a critical role in the process of medical diagnostics. Through imaging exams, radiology techs help to determine the root cause of pain or extent of an injury. We’re seeking an X-ray tech to work alongside our orthopedics team at our Evanston clinic. This is a part-time role.
Radiology Technician: Job Requirements
As a radiology tech at our Evanston clinic, you’ll provide imaging services for orthopedic patients navigating a wide range of injuries and conditions. You’ll perform exams via X-ray, while keeping patient safety and comfort front and center.
Strong communication skills are essential in this role, as well as a keen interest in professional development. As we strive to provide exceptional patient care, you’ll be expected to continually participate in radiological safety training and quality improvement efforts. Currently, this role is available 2-3 days a week from 8 a.m-5 p.m.
Along with these skills, this role requires:
- Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration in radiography
- Valid state of Wyoming general radiologic technologist license
- Must have a current BLS card within three months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout employment
- Associate degree of applied science in radiologic technology and/or bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences from an AMA-approved school preferred
- Certification in additional ARRT modalities preferred
