This month grow a beard to show your support for men’s health. You could win a prize! Then donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to the Star Valley Foundation to support men’s health.
Compared with women, men avoid going to the doctor, skip more recommended screenings and practice riskier behavior. They also die about five years sooner, live with more years of bad health and have higher suicide rates.
Let’s raise awareness of men’s health.
This is how men can join the contest:
- Make a $5 donation to the Foundation by scanning the QR code below OR making a payroll deduction.
- Be clean-shaven on October 31. (That’s this Sunday!)
- Grow your beard until December 1.
- Submit before and after photos to Kathryn Myers at [email protected].

- Fullest
- Most Artistic
Ladies can participate too! Donate new razors, shaving cream, and personal hygiene items to benefit Turning Point in Afton and Kemmerer. Take your items to Kathryn Myers at the business office.
