When you are fortunate enough to find an employee who is both a
nurse and skilled in IT (information technology), what do you do?
Ask her to manage electronic health records and focus on patient care
and safety.
That remarkable employee is Kris Hinton,
our clinical IT supervisor. “I manage communications
throughout the hospital and also get to care for patients who are ill or
have just had surgery,” she explains.
IT Director Shane Hokum says Kris is dependable and thorough in
everything she does. “She defines dedication,” he says. “She’s willing
to help anyone in need at all hours and strives to learn new things
every day.”
Kris has been with Star Valley Health since 2008 and loves her job.
“IT is like a puzzle that needs solving.”
