We mourn the passing of Shane Robinson, a key member of our maintenance crew since February 2021, who passed away on Saturday, July 23.
But Shane would not want us to mourn. An optimist by nature, he brought a sense of humor to the workplace and always had a smile on his face and a story to tell.
Shane was a master craftsman. He took the time to make sure that whatever he was working on was the best of the best. There was no project too big or too small for him to help with.
He was instrumental in the remodeling of the resident rooms at Star Valley Care Center. “He worked great with the residents,” explains Russ Parsons, maintenance director, “and they loved to see him come by. If you ever needed him, no matter the task or time of day, he showed up with a smile and willingness to get things done.
”Shane was currently working to get our new Alpine clinic ready to open. “Shane represented everything that is good in the world and everything that Star Valley Health stands for,” says CEO Dan Ordyna. “We love you Shane, and we will truly miss you!”
