The Star Valley Health Alpine Expansion project received a much needed boost recently as a donation of $50,000 was made by supporters at the Alpine Airpark. As part of an ongoing effort to support the town of Alpine, the residential community locally known as the Alpine Airpark raised more than $200,000 for the local public services. These services include the Alpine Fire Department, Alpine Emergency Medical Services, new Alpine Medical Clinic, Alpine Library, and a new skating rink.

The donation was provided by the Alpine Airpark/Draper Family Community Support Fund, which was named in honor of Rex Draper, and the event was coordinated by Steve Funk, an early developer of the Airpark. Star Valley Health was invited to join the celebration and be on hand to talk about the expansion project.
The new Star Valley Health Alpine campus will be built on the southwest corner of the Alpine Junction, at the entrance of the Alpine Meadows Subdivision. The first phase of the new facility was planned to be a building of approximately 11,000 square feet, and would house a much larger number of services than our current location near the library and town hall. Although COVID-19 put a damper on the timeline, plans of a larger family medicine clinic, urgent care, orthopedics and specialty clinics are still intended to proceed, with other services to follow.
Special thanks to the Town of Alpine, the Alpine Airpark/Draper Family Community Support Fund, Steve Funk, Mayor Kennis Lutz and Senator Dan Dockstader for their support.
