For Korry Wheeler, working in healthcare is a lifelong dream and calling. His father, Jim Wheeler, was the first physical therapist in Star Valley. Now Korry brings his skills to Star Valley Health as an inpatient physical therapist.
“I’ve known my whole life that I wanted to get into healthcare. I’ve always wanted to help people when they’re in the times of greatest need.”
Star Valley Health’s Transitional Care and Rehab program offers a full suite of support to patients, including physical, speech, and respiratory therapy. And Korry has scaled his EMG (Electromyography) expertise, achieving board certification this year. Korry is Wyoming’s sole physical therapist with board certification in EMG.
“He goes above and beyond to help out all of the patients at Star Valley Health,” says Dan Jeske, director of physical therapy. Korry’s new certification will allow him to expand the nerve conduction services that Star Valley Health offers.”
