Volunteer Stacie England brings a creative and discerning eye to her role at Star Valley Health’s Gifts of Joy auxiliary gift shop, managing the selection, pricing, and display of the gift shop’s treasures.
A painter with a love of design and decorating, Stacie curates gifts for both patients and staff. Pop in on any given day, and you may find blankets, journals, decorative pillows, or a SVH favorite: adorable plush gnomes for every occasion.
Director of Volunteers, Andra Parmenter describes Stacie’s devotion throughout the pandemic. “Stacie kept both the auxiliary and hospital employees going with the items she selects. Local community members rely on the gift shop for treasures that are hard to come by in Afton, and employees love to browse when they have a much-needed break. Everyone is excited to see the new items she adds every Tuesday.”
In all seasons, you’re sure to find the perfect gift to encourage and support a loved one.
