You know that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused incredible
stress on doctors and nurses, but have you considered the toll
on other employees?
“Seeing our patients so sick and some dying has been the
most challenging part of my job,” says Cristi Sidwell,
who handles admissions and juggles appointments
for Star Valley Health’s Bridger Valley Urgent Care
clinic in Lyman.
Despite the challenges, Amanda Barnes, PA, says Cristi “has
really made a difference in our patients’ lives. She can calm the
most upset and lift the lowest.”
“I try to always remember to treat our patients with dignity,” says
Cristi, “the way I would want my family to be treated. This is an
amazing place to work. Even at the end of a long, exhausting day,
this team treats the last patient of the day with as much kindness
and compassion as the first.”
