We have been delivering babies for the past 40 years! We are proud to have helped thousands of women in and around Star Valley safely bring new life into the world without having to travel away from home. We look forward to helping you, too!
We’re dedicated to providing you with safe, effective prenatal care services. Prenatal care plays an essential role in maintaining a healthy pregnancy and preparing for your birth, as regular tests and screenings monitor the health of you and your baby. These appointments are also the perfect time to discuss questions and concerns with your doctor and create an informed birth plan.
We know that financial challenges may pose great concern as you approach the coming months. Wyoming Medicaid’s Pregnant Women programs provide healthcare coverage for eligible women for up to a year after delivery.
In addition to our local prenatal services, we also provide free childbirth education classes each quarter for women and their birth partners. These classes cover everything from labor and delivery to breastfeeding and can help you feel more prepared and confident as your due date arrives.
“We want you to have a great experience and a healthy baby. We are totally on your team. And we will always be on your team.” – Dr. Todd Haderlie
Along with prenatal support and childbirth education, we can also help you create your birth plan. Your birth plan includes details on your preferences for labor and delivery, such as pain management, the ambience of the room, or any requests in case a cesarean is needed.
Every birth story is unique, and it may not always unfold as expected. But having these discussions with your doctor in advance can help you feel more confident and prepared as your delivery day arrives. Know that we will do our best to honor your birth plan, and any pivots to the plan will always be focused on the health of you and your baby.
Our maternity ward includes three private birthing suites, a nursery, and a dedicated OB nurse station near our surgical services. If your doctor is unable to deliver your baby, our OB physician is on call 24/7. Along with your delivery doctor, you’ll be supported by a dynamic team of OB nurses, anesthesiologists, and respiratory therapists.
We also provide 24/7 ambulance transport throughout Star Valley. Our ambulances are prepped with an OB emergency kit, and our skilled paramedics and EMTs will support you and your baby with optimal care during travel.
During your hospital stay, our team will provide you with the support and information you need to ensure your fourth trimester is healthy and successful. Our services include guidance on:
“I enjoy taking care of families, from newborns to the elderly. Being able to be involved with the full spectrum of a family is so rewarding.” – Dr. Christian Morgan
Our family medicine doctors are also ready to provide continuing care for your baby. Developing a relationship with a family medicine doctor is an investment in long-term health. From annual checkups to vaccinations, your doctor is here to help care for little ones as they grow.
