Kristle Westover is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), and she’s now seeing clients at our Thayne clinic.
She specializes in therapy for:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Grief
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Stress Reduction
- Substance abuse
- Suicidal ideation/urges
- Trauma
- Whole person wellness
Kristle describes the process of developing a care plan: “We start with the end goal in mind and develop a plan based on individual desires and needs. This opens people up to look at other areas of their lives where they might need help.”
A condition Kristle often sees this time of year is seasonal affective disorder (SAD), a type of depression connected to the changing of seasons.
“This is something that happens to a lot of people in Star Valley due to the dark, and our elevation. Any kind of depression, or anxiety, can become worse in the winter.”
Kristle provides therapy for adults, teens, and children over eight years old. If you’re uninsured or your health plan doesn’t cover mental health counseling, we also offer payment plans.
Appointments are available at our clinic, through telehealth video calls, and, in some cases, geriatric visits. Connect with our team if you wish to bring a support person with you.
